My Favorite Vegetarian Friendly Places in Hong Kong

When I first came to Hong Kong, I didn’t eat red meat and a few months later I became a pescetarian. Is it hard to find vegetarian restaurants in Hong Kong? No, but it depends on your budget. On average it costs around 100-180 hkd to have a proper meal for one person; so if your budget allows you to have a decent meal with such price then good news - there won’t be any issues with finding delicious food in a pleasant atmosphere!

In this post I will share my personal favorites (spoiler alert: don’t read on a hungry stomach!)

1. Chor Bazare Indian and Thai Cuisine

Location: Tai Hang, Hong Kong (near Victoria Park)

As an Indian cuisine lover, I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who is looking for an appetizing dish to eat. The place itself is very small, food is served fast, the staff is friendly and one of the best naans I have tried (cheese naan, must try!)

Payment : Cash, MaterCard, Visa

2. Everyday Buffet

Location: Tsim Sha Tsui (near Jordan station)

I enjoy having dinner at the vegetarian buffets in Hong Kong, there are many dishes available starting with pizza, salads, noodles, sticky rice and ending with ice cream, fruits and much more! I recommend going there with friends, colleagues and family members since the buffet's cozy atmosphere would be perfectly followed by warm talks.

In the buffets you pay depending on the time you visit and eat as much as you want!

Check per one person : Lunch 118 hkd, Afternoon tea 98 hkd, Dinner 178 hkd

3. Veggiemind

Location: Mong Kok

I adore the variety of dishes they serve in Veggiemind Buffet. I especially love tomatos with eggs and eggplant! This buffet is reminding me of a homelike setting, it makes me feel as if I am at my relatives house and can eat whatever I want and as much as I can. Obviously it is a must to not overeat so I suggest sharing dishes with your friends or family together and eat for pleasure.

Payment : Cash, Octopus

Check : Dinner 168

Thank you for reading my post, I hope you guys have a chance to visit these places and I will continue to search for a delicious food. Stay tuned for new blog posts by subscribing and do not forget to comment your favorite food places in Hong Kong.
